THOSEDAYS - people you may know...hehe...

OPTIMIZATION of coagulant - study team, Dr. A...., Hjh. Az.... and Muz.....
To whom it may concern...
Eg: MNF = 2.5 l/s
= 2.5 x 3600
= 9000 l/hr
= 9000 / 1066 ( i.e : conn. = 1066 nos. )
= 8.44 l/c/hr
Eg: LNF = 4.08 l/c/hr ( 4.08 calculated during re-establishment process )
Therefore ; NNF = MNF – LNF
= 8.44 – 4.08
= 4.36 l/c/hr
Therefore ;
LEAKAGE = NNF x T x No. of Conn.
( T and no. of conn. Calculated during re-establishment process )
LEAKAGE = 4.36 (l/c/hr) x 17.97 (hr/d) x 1066 (nos.)
( i.e: T = 17.97 )
= 83,520 l/d
= 83,520 x 10 –3 m3/d
= 83.5 m3/d
= 83.5 m3/d / 585 m3/d x 100 ( 585 m3/d = Av flow )
= 14.3 %

% lk to m3 = av flow x % / 100 x day
m3/d to l/hr = x 1000/24
m3/d to l/s = x 1000/24 x 3600
l/hr to l/c/hr = l/hr / conn.
L/hr to l/km/hr = l/hr / pipe length

...about the background song...
Album: POWERSLAVE 1984

( let's sing along )

Flash Of The Blade

As a young boy chasing Dragons
with your wooden sword so mighty,
You're St. George or you're David and you always
killed the beast
Times change very quickly
And you had to grow up early
A house in smoking ruins and the bodies at your feet

You'll die as you lived
In a flash of the blade
In a corner forgotten by no-one
You lived for the touch
For the feel of the steel
One man, and his Honour.

The smell of resined leather
The steely iron mask
As you cut and thrust and parried at the
fencing master's call
He taught you all he ever knew
To fear no mortal man
And now you'll wreak your vengeance in the
Screams of evil man.

[Repeat chorus]

DAN's TACIT - I've learned something from Dan today...if NH3 is 0.5ppm, to eliminate it is with 0.5 x 0.9 = 4.5ppm Cl2 . Max that we have here with two pumps = 700kg x1,000/55,000m3 = 12.7 ppm Cl2 where 12.7-4.5=8.2ppm extra Cl2. To get 2.0ppm we must dose 4.0ppm therefore 8.2-4.0=4.2ppm. In conclusion, we could treat...THANKS to DAN...watch out behind the white board...
WAKYEM - have to mintak nyawa with wakyem for us to get a RW sample Bekok River...we've got no 4WD to go.... We had a breakfast first for sure...thanks for your help!
